26th Dec Update:- Seva Sindhu Yuva Nidhi Registration Starts from 2024

On December 26, 2023, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah initiated the registration process for the Yuva Nidhi program, a step towards fulfilling one of the five promises made by the Congress party prior to the general elections. This program aims to provide monthly financial assistance to unemployed graduates and certificate holders. In addressing the pressing issue of unemployment, the government is not only offering financial aid but is also actively working towards creating job opportunities for the youth.

Under the Yuva Nidhi initiative, individuals with a degree obtained in 2023, who have been unemployed for six months, will receive Rs 3,000 per month for a duration of two years. Diploma holders will receive Rs 1,500 per month under the same conditions. The assistance period will conclude within two years if the beneficiary secures employment or establishes their own business. Approximately 4.8 lakh graduates and 48,100 diploma holders were recorded for the academic year 2022–2023.

Qualified applicants can register through various locations, including the Sevasindhu portal, Grama One, Karnataka One, Bengaluru One, and Bapuji Seva Kendras. The required documents for registration include PU and SSLC mark cards, the ration card, and the employment registration card. The government aims to credit the financial aid to the recipients’ accounts on January 12.
